Research: Are You Ready for College Papers?

One thing that often surprises college freshmen is the amount and depth of research required for college-level papers.

If you want to be really prepared for college assignments, it's a good idea to become familiar with the many resources found in the the library and elsewhere. College professors will often require sources like scholarly journals, primary sources, and rare books. Don't risk a low grade on your first paper. Take the time to browse the scholarly journals and peek into the local archives. Learn how to use these resources now, and later you'll go straight to the head of the class!
