Build Your Vocabulary

Wednesday February 1, 2006

How are your communication skills? College officials and business leaders agree that students who can write and speak intelligently are highly sought after--because they're few and far between.

Lots of students make it through high school--and even college--just fine with average communication skills. But fine isn't good enough! Why should average students be surprised when big opportunities, like great colleges or great jobs, remain elusive? Do you fear you'll be rejected by that preferred college? Turned down for a job? It might be the interview or the essay that will make the difference. What can you do? Build your vocabulary! Practice grammar rules like I and Me! It's as easy as that.

Let's learn together! I'd like to receive suggested vocabulary words from you. Please send in your ideas for vocabulary words to add to the quizzes and drills. Send in your favorite new word, whether it's silly, obscure, or just interesting.
