Reading a Newspaper

As a young adult, you may have read or studied parts of a newspaper as a requirement in a school assignment. During summer vacation, however, many high school students begin to browse the newspaper for the very first time out of personal interest. Some curious young minds begin to form opinions about social issues as they prepare for college, while others are more interested in reading fashion news and celebrity profiles.

Whatever your preference, you can use these newspaper terms and tips to help you decide what to read and how to use the information you find.
