Sales Tax Holidays are Back!

Friday July 28, 2006
You may live in one of the fifteen states that offer a tax holiday for back to school shoppers.

Tax free shopping can mean great savings for your family, although the rules vary from state to state. For instance, shoppers in Iowa will save while buying clothing priced less than $100, but shoppers in North Carolina will find that the rules in their state seem to be more generous. Shoppers there can enjoy tax-free shopping on computers priced $3,500 or less, computer supplies priced $250 or less, clothing and school supplies priced $100 or less, and sports equipment priced $50 or less.

Find out if you live in a state that offers a tax holiday.
