Flashcard Tips

Sunday August 6, 2006
Flashcards remain as one of the best tools for memorizing information. The problem is, many students find them boring to make and to use.

There are several tricks to enhancing the learning process and making flashcards a little more fun. For instance, you can improve the process of memorizing foreign language terms by using color-coding. When studying Spanish, for example, you may want to create feminine nouns on pink cards and masculine nouns on blue cards.

Flashcards can be fun for study groups. You can use colored poster boards to make larger cards, and divide your group into competing teams. Make your study time a team sporting event!

Another good way to study flashcards is with a flashcard software. A good one is www.studyperfect.com. This saves on paper too! :)
