Overcoming Math Anxiety

You Can Be Great at Math!

Recently, CNN reported on an interesting study concerning math skills in women. The new study disputes a long-held belief that women are not as skilled as men when it comes to math.

Interestingly, the study suggests that confidence actually has a greater impact on math success than gender or other factors. In this study, participating women answered twice as many questions correctly after reading a confidence-building essay.

This suggests that you can improve your math scores when you build your confidence and think positively about your ability. Like the women in this study, you can overcome your math anxiety by learning more about yourself and discovering some interesting facts about math.
