Noise Distraction and Grades

Are you distracted by noise? Some students struggle to pay attention in class or to work in study areas because small background noises can interfere with their concentration.

Background noise does not affect all students in the same way. There are a few factors that may determine whether noise distraction is a problem for you. If you are an auditory learner, for instance, you will have more trouble with background noise interference than other students.

Introverted students can also struggle with distraction from noise, and this can prove harmful to homework performance.
