Are you preparing for a standardized exam? Are you stressed about the test? There is good news! ProProf.com, a free online learning site, now offers help for SAT prep (and an ACT guide is in the works).
The ProProfs SAT site covers many topics and offers tools like vocabulary flash cards, math tutorials, practice questions, and simulated tests. But what’s really special about it? A few things.
You can contribute. This site uses "wiki" technology, which means you can add and edit (no funny stuff!). If you have advice for other students, like tips for understanding a particular type of question or suggestions about the essay writing section, you can share your thoughts and success stories with other students.
It is free. One of the problems plaguing education in the U.S. is the economic disadvantage that some students face. As you know, many SAT and ACT prep materials are expensive, and some students just can’t afford to pay for practice time.
But change is coming! More and more free resources are made available every day, and ProProfs has just added a great tool to the list.
Check it out now!

Thank you so much for this tip! I am taking the ACT in a couple of weeks and I want to get into a good school. I get nervous during standardized tests, though, and often do poorly because of it. This will be just the thing to get me into a good school. Thanks for the help.
