You just got a preview of the report card, and the news isn’t good.

If you find yourself in this situation, you know how stressful it can be to think about telling your parents. Of course they’re going to be upset. Who wants to face that?

But high school is your doorway to adulthood, and being an adult means learning from mistakes and doing things that are tough. What can you do? Schedule a meeting with your parents and go into the meeting with a plan.

Sharing bad news is never fun, but it can be a little bit easier with a solid plan and a grownup attitude. Full article
