The First Week of School

Wednesday August 1, 2007

If you're like most students, you start off the year with great study habits. You organize your supplies and assignments, you do your first reading assignment as soon as it's announced, and you review your class notes faithfully.

Then, after a week or so, your organization skills start to slip.

If this sounds familiar, don't despair! The problem isn't you--it's your system. You just need to establish some solid study habits during your first week that you can stick to. For instance, you can find a fun way to manage your time, like using Yahoo! Calendar to send yourself text messages when you have an assignment due or an important meeting to attend.

You'll find more suggestions like this when you check out 5 tips for the first week of school.
