2008 Writing Competitions

Monday November 12, 2007

Do you love to write poetry or short stories? If you enjoy working with words, you may be happy to know that you can earn national recognition, publication opportunities, and scholarship awards through writing competitions.

I've put together a list of contests created especially for students from middle school to high school. Every competitions has specific qualifications, rules, and regulations, so you'll need to read through the submission forms to find out what contest fits your writing interests. The list will be updated throughout the year, so you should check back frequently to find updates and additions.
