4 Things to Know About College

Wednesday December 12, 2007

You have been in school for as long as you can remember. You know that college is the next logical step, but right now, starting all over again in college may seem like too much. Sometimes, the hardest part of getting into college can be the decision of whether or not you really want to go.

It's time for some good news! Whether you're suffering from senior slump or you're nervous about moving away, you might not be feeling as excited about college as your friends are. Don't worry! There is good news about college! It's nothing like high school.

Hate to get up in the morning? If you are not a morning person, you can choose to take all afternoon classes in college. Have to work? You can schedule around it. Hate cliques? No problem in college. Prefer to choose your own classes? Although you are required to take core classes, you have the opportunity to select from a wide range of subjects.

If you just hang in there, you're sure to find that college truly is something to get excited about.

Hi Grace,

As a brand new edu blogger, I’m enjoying your blog very much, particularly when I should be working (still right-brained, though no longer a teen). I actually found you while Googling ’study tips’ and would love your feedback on my own recent compilation of those, at http://www.worldwidelearn.com/worldwideblog/online-degrees/the-22-best-study-tips-ever/

The title’s a bit frivolous (as they have to be in blogging), but I think the tips are sound! I’d love to hear your opinion.

Thanks,
Calliope @ WorldWideBlog
