New Cheating Scandal

Wednesday December 19, 2007

I know I’ve warned you that cheating is a serious problem and it becomes even more serious when you enter college—but I thought I’d bring attention to this matter once again, in light of recent events.

There has been a major cheating scandal at Florida State, and it involves several members of the football team. As many as 25 players will have to sit out the upcoming Music Bowl game against longtime rival Kentucky. And many of the players could also be sitting on the sidelines next season! In addition to the embarrassment and hardship this will cause the players, the scandal will affect the spirit of the entire student body. It could also impact the school’s image and pocketbook in the long run!

Cheating penalties can be serious—and can even involve expulsion from college altogether. And once you’re kicked out of one college, it can be years before you can get back in to any college. If you’ve ever thought about cheating, think again!

Are you cheating yourself? Take the quiz!
