Writer's Block

Wednesday February 20, 2008

At some time or another, every writer suffers from writer's block. Sometimes when you sit down to write, it probably seems like words just stream into your brain from some mysterious source, as soon as you get pen in hand. And other times? It's all tumbleweeds and crickets in there, no matter how hard you try.

Different solutions work for different people. If I have the time, I put off my writing until morning. For some reason, the start of a new day brings about a fresh outlook and a store of new ideas for me.

If that doesn't work for you, you might find a better solution by reading advice from many famous writers who have had to deal with writer's block. Let me know if you have your own advice to share!
