Tax Free Holidays Coming!

Tuesday July 15, 2008

Now is a good time to poke around and find out when your state or area might be offering a tax free holiday for school supplies.

Each year government officials from all over declare a day or an entire weekend "tax free," which means you can get the equivalent of a big discount on big ticket (or lots of little ticket) items.

Keep an eye on the newspaper or check out the web site of your local and state governments to find out when you can take advantage of this offer. Oh, in case you were wondering: school clothes usually qualify as supplies! Happy shopping!
