College Grades Matter Too!

You know that outstanding high school performance is essential for getting you into college. But many students who are starting (or looking forward to starting) college courses are under the big misconception that college grades aren’t really that important. After all, employees don’t care about grades, right? They just want to know that you earned a degree. Not so fast!

First of all, very few college students know what twists and turns their educational ambitions will encounter when they begin their journey as freshmen. Rarely do freshmen realize that they will want to attend graduate school at some point. This is dangerous, because freshman often discover the freedom that comes with dorm life and fall into party mode for the first few months. When that happens, the GPA takes a big hit, and this situation can destroy graduate school and other career ambitions!

The college GPA is also something that follows you forever. If for some reason you find it necessary to transfer from one college to another, or to interrupt your college attendance for a period of time and re-apply later, you may run into some real difficulties getting accepted in with a low GPA. It happens all the time!
