Talent Search for Future Scientists

Monday October 27, 2008

Have you been conducting your own research in science, math, or engineering? Can you write a 20-page description of your research? If so, your work could pay off in a big way!

Each year, the Intel STS celebrates scientific inquiry through a competition to find the nation’s most talented high school seniors. The rules and regulations of this competition state that each student must be a high school senior and a U.S. citizen. Students are asked to submit a written report (no more than 20 pages), transcripts, and recommendations. Students who have conducted research on human subjects or animals must also have the appropriate consent of an Institutional Review Board (IRB).

Interested? Check out the official site and start writing! If you’re not a senior yet, you have plenty of time to plan for the future.
