Students can become overwhelmed by the thought of a big writing assignment, but I think that is because there are so many important steps. The research is the first step, and it is so important to keep the research organized. Some find that most daunting.
The thesis statement is another component that students seem to find challenging. It certainly is important to get that right. But there are other elements that students can find vexing. What about you? Do you struggle to make your paragraphs flow? Or do you run out of words and struggle to make the final product long enough to fit the assignment?
