As a visual learner, you may learn best when you create charts or pictures of the information you're studying. If you haven't done this yet, it would be a good idea to start! You are probably a talented artist--or you will be. Maybe you just haven't discovered your talents yet.

You like to see demonstrations, diagrams, slides, charts, and other visual aids in the classroom, but you learn more once you are able to study those images alone in your room.

If you study with a group, you should try an active study group activity using flash cards.

As an auditory learner, you may have memorized lots of songs over the years, since you probably learn best by listening! You are also good at speaking.

You might do well in a debate class, since you are probably great at putting things into words. 

You can remember names but you don't always remember faces. You probably associate many products with their advertising jingles. You could use this talent to your advantage by making up tunes as you memorize lists. Put your worlds to music!

When traveling to a new place you may prefer to follow verbal directions instead of looking at a map.

You would benefit from recording lectures and listening to podcasts when you study for a test.

As a tactile learner, you like to get active as you learn.  

If you are a tactile learner, you probably do best when you participate in activities that get you out of your chair.

You prefer direct involvement in the learning environment and enjoy activities like role playing and sports. You remember things best once you've experienced them.

You don't understand things so well if you only read about them. Reading usually bores you. You may talk with your hands. You might have been called a poor listener or a fidgety student, because sitting too long makes you nuts!

You probably sit in the back of the class. You like to study in groups because of the interaction. You may be involved in drama. You can benefit by using role playing methods when you study. You could also benefit from making your own flashcards.
